Tijana Andrejić was born on May 4, 1986. Her education started at “Stevan Hristić” Primary School in Bačka Palanka. As the best student of generation she graduated high-school from the Music School “Isidor Bajić” in Novi Sad, as a student of Professor Vera Hofman-Momčilović. In 2003, she enrolled graduate studies and in September 2007 she completed them at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, with Professor Dorian Leljak,. Since October 2007 Tijana Andrejić has attended master studies at Academy of Arts in Novi Sad with Professor Dorian Leljak, and since December 2007 she has been working at the Academy as a teaching assistant for piano.
During her education Tijana Andrejić has been very successful in various competitions in Serbia and abroad, including the following: International competition “Virtuosi per musica di pianoforte”, Czech Republic – Usti nad Labem 2001 – second place; Isidor Bajić Piano Memorial, Novi Sad, 2006 – first place. Tijana Andrejić has performed in the most prestigeous concert halls in the country, as a soloist or with a chamber orchestra, as well as a soloist with an orchestra. Especially important are the concerts in Kolarac National University (Belgrade), Sinagogue and the City Hall in Novi Sad, as well as concerts in Sombor, Subotica...
She has attended piano EPTA courses with professors: Miroslava Lili-Petrović, Kemal Gekić, Dušan Trbojević and Dorian Leljak. She is actively attending Yale SMN International Masterclasses with professors: Jovanka Banjac, Vera Hofman-Momčilović, Dr Paul Barnes, Prof David Westfall, Prof Ayako Tsuruta, Prof Peter Miyamoto, Prof Ninoslav Živković and Prof Carl Ponten. During the year 2006, she had successful cooperation with Nagy Péter (Hungary), Prof Nadia Lasserson and Prof Rustemm Hajrudinov (London), and in May 2007 with Sergei Kudrjakov (Russia).
She is a scholarship holder of the Fund for Young Talents and the Foundation for Development of Young Scientists and Artists with the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia. In April 2007 Tijana Andrejić was awarded with “The Little Prince” as the best student at the Music Department of the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad.
